Composure is an application concept and design that allows the user to release thoughts and move forward with their day. With meditation practices in mind Composure prompts the user to compose a new thought. This is similar to acknowledging thoughts when they pass through while meditating. After creating a new thought Composure will direct the user to three options of releasing this thought; “journal entry”, “let go”, or “mantra.” Recognizing what thoughts are positive, and helpful verses negative and harmful will have a positive affect on how the user thinks going forward. Additionally the act of letting go of negative thoughts can allow the user to live a more positive life. Composure is a tool that allows the user to do just that, the “let go” option is like a delete button for the thought. Why write something down just to delete it? The user benefits by releasing the negative thought from their mind and then decided to let go of it. The benefit of composing a positive thought holds the same value, and Composure allows the user to journal their positive thoughts and also create a mantra with the thoughts they find most important to their positive growth.
